WebI agree. You can't expect people to get better at a character you don't allow them to play as. Forcing players into playing limited, specific characters (one of them being Widow, one of the highest skill-ceiling heroes in the game IMO) until they can play as something they might actually enjoy is just utter bullshit and I doubt it will help with player retention.
