WebMay 25, 2024 · It still crashes if I go into settings but I've been able to play it. To fix the windowed mode issue: Go into darksouls.ini. Change to "WindowMode = 2". WebMay 31, 2024 · Yep, all fixed. If you choose to follow my guide for the expansion that even works fine full screen on Windows 10 as well. I've installed all 3 games, installed mentioned expansion sets, though I don't have full screen mode on DS2. I mean everything works and looks fine except 4:3 ratio with black stripes on both sides in DS2. Webyeah, pre-64 bits engine only had delta timing as an extra feature. phyreEngine will not shit itself like the frankenstein bugthesda engine but things like ladders/doors/anything that makes your character do a special animation, online interactions, and probably some effects will not work at best.
WebOpen DS4 windows if you don’t have it get it. Then with your mouse open the game until you are at the menu to select new game. The plug in your controller and it should work. On the nest opening of the game do what you did before but now don’t plug in you controller until you load into your character. Hope his helped.
