WebOct 28, 2008 · Replacement clutch steels and fibers don't really care if they're wet or dry, they'll work either way. If you're talking about belt drives, Bob Newby and QPD both make drives that use sealed hub bearings. The Hayward, as far as I know, reuses the stock loose bearings (if Im wrong on that someone please correct me, never used one)
